This group is a 'legacy' site. In other words, I have moved on to other formats for communicating with friends, colleagues, students, and the public and this site is only maintained for the archive, no new material or moderation takes place here. You can follow me on Twitter (anthrodiva), where I send out links to interesting articles. I also have a Google Reader profile where I share links to a broader range of articles, as well as my blog Small Signs and Omens, where extended analysis of topical issues takes place; all of these ultimately link to one another, so find one and you should be able to easily transition to another. If have just joined, please take a look around. This site has a lot of material intended to help students and professors of anthropology. Ideas, guides, study materials, philosophical tidbits. This is now all listed under the Blog area. Links connect you to some interesting sites that are also mainly focused on doing well in an anthropology course. Pictures is just for fun, often students have posted photos from their Primate Observations or other fieldtrips we have conducted. Beautiful or funny, random photos are also welcome. . In the Market I would prefer to see only relevant items for sale, such as textbooks and other course materials, videos on the subject, tickets to events related to topics on this blog, and the like. Those of you using the group for the Extra Credit assignments, make sure and post your activity directly to your online course environment, or bring something on a 3x5 notecard to class so I can track and enter your work. Enjoy the site! Susan, aka Anthrodiva
